My 5 year old daughter complained about being tired earlier and she lied in bed earlier than her normal bedtime. she has a runny noise now and chest sounds congested. i have nurofen (for children) and calpol (paedietric suspension). can i give her?

It sounds like a viral upper respiratory infection. The only treatment is symptomatic (no antibiotics) so those meds are fine (one or the other)..
