Is it safe to take cbd with lexapro 15mg? im hoping for some additional anxiety relief with a more natural remedy, but generally do well on the lexapro so i dont want to stop taking it?

Since this product isn't investigated by government agencies like the FDA most physicians will not endorse its use as it may have contaminants that could interact with lexapro, the best dose is an unknown and efficacy can't be determined.

CBD is generally safe with no known serious drug interactions but high doses may inhibit CYP2D6,the enzyme that metabolizes Lexapro;the effect might be similar to increasing Lexapro a bit,maybe to 20 mg,but that's a safe dose;the degree will be related to how much CBD.You can try a moderate dose like 10 mg2x/day.See tinyurl.com/4noxqkl8 Also consider B vitamins,magnesium,tulsi tea, meditation.
