Last june i saw an ent who said i have a nasal polyp on my right side and to come back in a year for a follow up. why would he not just have removed it?

Polyp: Just because their is a lesion doesn't mean it needs to be removed. There are potential risks with any surgical procedures. At the time you were seen the risks may have outweighed the benefits. Many people have polyps that aren't really causing problems. However, some issues can become worse with time & might need surgical intervention at some point
