Most likely : Single solitary polyps have a unique appearance which provides the experienced ENT surgeon the opportunity to impart his wisdom. Without a CT scan of your sinuses however, it would be impossible to know if that’s the only abnormality of your nose and sinuses, I routinely obtain sinus CT scans to confirm the endoscopic findings and give you further piece of mind. This can be removed in the office.
