Hi, i saw an ent last june who said i have a single polyp on my right side and to come back in a year for follow up. is this considered unilateral and if so why didnt he just remove it? hoping an ent can answer - thank you?

Topical treatment: The polyp may need to be removed, and in the meantime nasal rinses, nasal steroid spray and avoiding triggers of inflammation is advised.
