A member asked:

Does using retin-a on your face add to your daily intake of vitamin a along with your diet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Application of such products to the skin surface adds nothing to your dietary intake of anything. It does not penetrate deep enough to actually be absorbed into the bloodstream & effect the body internally.
