Yeast, Vitamin pills: The only reliable vegan dietary source of B12 that i know of is red star nutritional yeast vegetarian support formula (t-6635+). About 2 rounded teaspoons a day supplies adequate b12. A much simpler solution is to take a B12 supplement, ideally as sublingual methylcobalamin. See http://www.Vrg.Org/nutrition/b12.Php re: yeast.

Supplement: Vegans have the moral high ground and possibly some health benefits, though when we control for the fact that vegetarians tend to have other healthy habits, the good effect tends to disappear. However, if you do not supplement, you'll ruin your health in as little as a few weeks or months. Get with a sensible, evidence-based physician in your community who's vegan-friendly if you've "gone vegan".
