Yes and no: Melatonin is no problem and rests at is,probably not one either, but discuss with your prescriber to insure that the therapeutic window of your anti seizure meds will not be lost.

Yes, BUT: Levetiracetam has side effects of drowsiness, lethargy, and spaciness in some. A sleeping pill effect would combine with the aforementioned and may cause enhanced side effects. Do not really know whether this will be fully safe, especially in a sensitive patient with a prior brain injury. Ask your local doctor also.
