Insomnia: Try eliminating all caffeine after 1 cup at breakfast. Don't eat,drink alcohol or exercise for a few hours before bedtime. Don't do computer, cell phone,heavy reading for 2 hours before bedtime. Light reading only. For a short period, if necessary, try taking 25 or 50 mgs of benadryl 1/2 hour before bedtime. It is hoped that you can avoid tranquilizers or sleeping pills which are habit forming.
