In case of achalasia, do you always have swallowing problem (i.e. with every meal) or is it off and on type condition i.e. sometimes you may have swallowing problem and other times you may not?

Achalasia: Symptoms can be intermittent until the point when the narrowing of the esophagus prevents normal swallowing.
