Yes: if you indeed have achalasia, you may feel reflux, regurgitation of food, etc, but this is because the food, saliva, or anything that is swallowed does not go down from the esophagus to the stomach. Usually once down into the stomach it is difficult for anything to reflux back up into esophagus when you have achalasia
