I have been diagnosed with achalasia and waiting on an appointment to confirm what type. a big question i have ,is it possible to vomit of you achalasia? also why am i not losing weight like i have read everyone else does?

I trust you're being advised by a gastroenterologist with expertise in treating achalasia, including referring to a proper GI surgical specialist to perform a laparascopic myotomy, if indicated. Most common symptoms are difficulty swallowing, heartburn and backflow or regurgitating food rather than vomiting. Apparently you're getting enough food through & are not losing weight.
