Sir i am suffering from achalasia and i have done poem surgery.also after the surgery gerd problem is there.and i am really passionate about doing gym and building muscles.can i join the gym after reflux procedure and can i get rid of this disease?

Your question is best answered by the physician who performed your procedure, knows the condition of your esophageal sphincter both pre & post poem & can judge how much strain from bearing down performing vigorous exercise your esophagus can take. Such straining aggravates reflux though.

After having POEM surgery for achalasia- Ive noticed fluid coming from my ears when I wake in the morning. Its been told I have eczema in my ears was given drops, no relief. My ears constantly itch- what else could this be?
So the problem is that after poem surgery in 2019 my lower esophagus sphincter is open and after that gerd problem occur,yep i know that u have to eat less food so acid doesnt increase,but i want a permanent solution?
Wouldnt fixing Achalasia by surgery result in acid reflux in esophogus?
