Good day i have a history of stomach ulcers and umbilical hernias which have since been operated on. lately i have a lot of abdominal pain and pain on the right side of the ribs and my lower back where the kidneys are. the pain starts after i eat.

Time to see doc: Among many other possibilities another ulcer, gallbladder and/or pancreatic inflammation would be high on the list. A physical exam with your treating doc would be best in order to get proper management of your condition.

Agree with Dr. P: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
