Sounds like GERD: It sounds like you are suffering from gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease). Regurgitation can be a component of gerd. An ulcer or gastritis are possible as well, but check with your regular physician or see a gastroenterologist for treatment.

Probably reflux: Sounds like gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) may be an issue, or at least part of it. Burning, pain, and belching/gas are frequent symptoms of gallbladder disease, but the food coming up sounds reflux--which can be caused by a hiatal hernia.
A detailed history and exam by a general surgeon can help pin it down and help decide on the best test.
