A member asked:

I'm taking care of a loved one who is getting keytruda treatments and is incontinent. any special precautions that should be taken?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Keytruda : Since this is a treatment that is used for cancer, the patient's immune system is compromised and is at higher risk for developing other issues to include infection. If the incontinence is of urine, a urinary tract infection needs to be ruled out by a specimen with your doctor. If the incontinence is of stool, your doctor would need to evaluate closely for other possibilities.
