Workout ?: It helps if you are specific to what this means. The growth plates can be injured in some settings but these relate to heavy lifting or poor lifting form in a weight room. A kid doing intense cardio/wrestling/learning proper weightlifting form at moderate levels is not considered at risk. You are welcome to start over & describe the workouts.

No: In the past (and even now) some doctors have worried that lifting heavy weights would damage the growth plates and stunt growth. Excellent, extensive research has shown that weight lifting, even in 4 year-olds, is safe if done properly. Core exercises are highly unlikely to cause damage resulting in decreased growth.
