If you've taken 2 14 day prilosec treatments & have started your 3rd, is it normal to start experiencing abdominal pain? i know inhibitors like prilosec can rarely cause c-diff; how soon after starting prilosec could that happen & how would you know?

Why are u taking it?: Prilosec doesnt cause c-diff but it blocks the stomach acid that protects us from intruders. C-diff must also be selected for by killing the other gut bacteria with antibiotics. You'd know because you'd have profound diarrhea, all liquid, often bloody with fever. Abdominal pain after 4 weeks of prilosec is a problem. If you dont have acid reflux, stop the prilosec and get back to your doctor.
