It may: Depending on where your ulcer is, it may cause pain in the RUQ, and even a gatric ulcer in the LUQ may cause "referred pain" to the other side. Be sure to follow-up with your Dr. and definitively, an EGD (a scope of the upper intestine) would diagnose exactly where you have an ulcer if any at all. Best wishes.
