Radial artery : With this diagnosis I would assume you have a vascular surgeon. It would be important to ask this question of that person. Often if an occlusion is chronic circulation is developed around the artery that has a partial occlusion. This would make it possible to continue with normal activities. Ask your vascular surgeon about the possibilities of exercise.

It may be.: There are two major arteries supplying blood to hand, the radial and ulnar. They are connected and share the blood supply to the hand . Thus, occlusion of one does not jeopardize the the blood flow to all parts of the hand. You do need to evaluate the arteries to be sure however. A vascular specialist will be able to do this.
