Dilation of eyes showed rt arterioles narrower than lt; rt venules much more tortuosity than left. optometrist advised carotid doppler to rule out potential for stroke. have appt w/ pcp on monday...what should i do in the meantime to prevent stroke?

Guidelines: I would reassure you that your description does not suggest imminent stroke risk, but it is well to assess for future prevention. A baby ASA daily has been used in both cardiovascular, and cerebrovascular disorders, and if tolerated might be prudent.
