Carotid stenosis: If severe, greater than 60%, then you should consider a potential entarterectomy or even stunting to prevent additional stroke events. Some evidence to suggest also, potential benefit of anti-platelet medication such as Aggrenox and a statin. Discuss with a stroke neurologist, and a vascular surgeon.
