Yes: Follow up is needed with your GP in order to try to establish a diagnosis. Specific tests may be needed as part of the work up. Weight loss is always of concern and timely assessment is critical in this context.

Agree with Dr. P: Unintended weight loss is always a cause for concern. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor. Wish you good health!
