A member asked:

My wife tested positive for her covid antibody test, so she has had covid. does this mean that i am likely to have had it as well, as we have not separated at all?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very likely but: Very likely, but not for sure. While the chances are high it also depends on whether she was symptomatic or not. If she was asymptomatic then the viral shedding can be low and you may not have had it especially if you did not experience symptoms. You can get tested as well to see if you have the antibodies or not, if positive then you know but if negative then difficult to say as they can wane.
