A member asked:

Hello. i had blood work up done. one of the test were for covid antibodies. sars cov 2 igg and sars cov 2 igm. i tested positive for the sars cov 2 igm test . negative on the igg. does that mean i was covid positive when i had the blood work ?

Igg tests will show an early response to a given antigen (like "sars cov 2", and Igm testing shows a later production of antibodies. It is likely that at the time of testing you were already "positive", as a negative Igg test with a positive Igm test implies a "covid positive" prior to the testing done.
