Does tongue cancer hurt?im pretty confident i bit my tongue but cant remember when.for 2 days now i have a sore bite bump on my tongue and its starting to scare me.its whiteish, small & tender.gargled w/ peroxide 2day to see if it helps.worried?

Oral Cancer: You've bitten your tongue, you need to give it time to heal. It may take a week or two. At 23, without underlying social habits (smoking, chewing tobacco, etc) the chances of cancer is almost zero. If your sorely bitten tongue does not heal within two weeks, please see an oral surgeon for an evaluation.
