You are correct to be concerned, and the two may be completely unrelated. Please go and see you dentist or a oral surgeon so that they can evaluate what the real problem is. Dont wait!

Fear of the unknown can make us not do what we know should be done. Please see your Dentist, an Oral Surgeon, or an Oral Pathologist immediately. If it's not a problem you will be reassured. If it is a problem the appropriate can be provided. 25 is young for most oral cancers, so hopefully it's something else. Go get examined.
