Good chance: 1.8 is big but Cabergoline is the right treatment for this tumor. Prolactin level should drop quickly and if the tumor is truly a prolactinoma, it should get smaller.

Good: Cabergoline is one of the 1st lines of treatment for a pituitary tumor that is a prolactinoma. Your endocrinologist can follow the response and shrinkage of the tumor with blood tests for prolactin level and MRI scans of the pituitary.
