Yes: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, what you described is not a cause for concern. Wish you good health!

Dr ran a protein electrophoresis test on me (both urine and blood). Kappa light chains slightly elevated/flagged in serum (21.5) but normal range in urine. No M spike observed and all other values normal. Chances of cancer small?
