A member asked:

Hello doctors. my dentist told me to use sensodyne toothpaste for a sensitivity issue. just in case i want to switch, is it safe to use sensodyne toothpaste in the future as my new "regular daily toothpaste," or only use it when told by the dentist?

Daily ok: The question remains, however, why are your teeth sensitive. Often this occurs when there is loss of supporting bone and concomitant gum recession. As this can be progressive, you would be well served to see a gum/bone specialist, a Periodontist.
