Referring doc: Your referring doc is trying to get a specialists' opinion if you suffer from a rheumatologic disorder. What makes you think you have MCTD or as having an immune mediated condition? Would suggest not rushing to conclusions before the rheumatologist has a chance to evaluate you properly.
