Can be: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, there is wide variety of auto-immune disorders and there is a wide spectrum of severity of illness associated with those. It would be prudent to have the discussion with your doctor after s/he has the lab results.

Depends: If the finding is just a low -titer positive ANA , it often means nothing although it suggests that you may be more prone to an autoimmune disease. If you are feeling well otherwise, I'd doubt that the condition is serious.
