Safe: Chronic GERD is a reflux of stomach contents up into the esophagus 3 or more times per week. Nozer (Omeprazole) is commonly prescribed for GERD, acidity, and stomach ulcers. Omeprazole has been found to be safe for pregnant women and is commonly prescribed for pregnant women experiencing heartburn, GERD or acidity. Be aware that pregnancy increases the pressure in your stomach= increased reflux.

Best: Would be to establish with Obs-Gyn in preconceiving stage so that goals and expectations can be established early. GERD might get worse during pregnancy otherwise and addressing it as early as possible should only help.
