The heart rate increases during pregnancy due to a combination of vasodilatation and increased cardiac out put. Following childbirth it returns to normal . Your current heart rate may your normal rate. You have not provided your heart rate prior to pregnancy. I do not believe there is anything to be concerned about. Check with your doctor to see what your rate was prior to pregnancy.
