Need evaluation: Given the pattern of the infection that tends to complicate with pneumonia, a medical evaluation is recommended as symptoms do progress fast in specific cases. Imaging may be needed as well. Best to coordinate would be your local GP, otherwise an urgent care facility/ ER is recommended.

Chest pain: I agree with Dr. Pasniciuc. If you have significant chest pain - you may need urgent or emergent assessment. You need emergency treatment / evaluation if your chest pain is associated with difficulty breathing, blue lips or new onset confusion.
