Why do i feel out of breath constantly for the last 4 months?it feels like im not getting enough air to my head.chest xray,echo/ekg,normal and negative for covid.i have a small hiatal hernia and dont smoke.blood wbc (3.1) and bilirubin (2.2). ideas?

Can’t be sure what’s going on. In addition to your respiratory symptoms your WBC is slightly low and the Bilirubin is slightly high. Cardiac function appears ok but you may have intrinsic lung disease. Need to see a lung doctor.

You really need to see a lung specialist. There are many tests that can be done to evaluate shortness of breath including pulmonary function testing, an arterial blood gas, a 6 minute walk test, a high resolution CT scan of the chest, a chest CT angiogram-to name a few. Further testing is definitely needed so see a pulmonologist ASAP. Your shortness of breath can be treated once diagnosed!!
