Night sweats, FUO?: With a normal chext xray, almost certainly you did not have pneumonia. True night sweats usually mean fever; sweating occurs when the fever breaks during the night. Night sweats or fever of unknown origin, without an abnormal CSR, is almost never pneumonia. Keep working with your doctor(s) about possible causes and treatment. Good luck.
