2018 osteopenia (nf1), bonemarrow biopsy to rule out underlying bone disease hypocellular 30%, dr. not concerned labs ok w/ low rbc. 2020 dyspnea+ fatigue, all low rbc (3.44) hemog (11.4) hematocrit (33.6). high mch (33.1). new labs need follow up?

Need to examine: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your bone marrow is abnormal and you may wish to consult a hematologist. Wish you good health!

Can it be too early to detect cancer in bone marrow biopsy? My labs show low RBC HGB 7.1 iron and is normal b12 is high. Had a bone marrow biopsy and chromosome testing done it was negative. No signs of cancer. Could it be too soon to detect cancer?
