Have severe allergies, severe asthma, and anxiety. all mimic covid symptoms. is there a tell-tale symptom that can rule out the first three so i know if i should contact my doctor about possible covid infection. don't want to go to dr if unnecessary?

Get tested: There is nothing telltale about COVID-19 signs and symptoms, but if any resemble the common ones such as high fever, chills, severe cough, get tested ASAP and find out if you need to be isolated or treated, or if you are just sick with something else

Asthma plan: Ensure that you have an asthma and allergy plan, including a plan if your symptoms worsen. Refill medications as indicated. Stay home, rest, monituor your temperature. Typically COVID 19 is associated with fever and allergic reactions are not typically associated with a high fever. Screening for COVID 19 is important since you have asthma and the symptoms may overlap.

COVID 19: COVID 19 Sx's may include fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Frankly, there is no simple way to know what you have.Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips, persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.
