Dr told me not to get covid vaccine because i have severe asthma and allergies. i have allergies to environmental things. i've never had a reaction to any other vaccine i've gotten including flu. i'm 27f 5'5" 240lbs. should i consult another dr?

It would make sense to get a second opinion. From what you say, you definitely should be vaccinated against COVID.

I agree with Dr. Handsfield. There are actually very few contraindications to getting the COVID 19 vaccine. Please check this out at https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/info-by-product/clinical-considerations.html. People will multiple health issues and obesity often are the ones who need vaccine protection the most.

Agree with Drs H and F Get the vaccine at your earliest convenience. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
