Adhesions etc...: If you were having pain before surgery, then a fibroid may not have been the cause. The incision can cause pain. Adhesions can form after surgery. It is not uncommon to hunt for a cause for long periods of time without a difinitive answer when it comes to female pelvic pain. "pelvic floor dysfunction" is an alternative theory for pelvic pain that persists after all possibilities were ruled out

Pain: Was there evidence of endometriosis? Does your pain occur during periods? Are there cramping during periods? I tend to doubt that fibroids are the cause of other types of pain but they can cause pressure and uterine cramping. I recommend consulting your gynecologist for another pelvic evaluation.
