Can i give my 6 year old child half an allergex tablet? she has a post nasal dry cough, and i need an antihistamine for her (along with the couch suppressant syrup), but i have run out of allergex syrup. please advise thank you

Reduce adult dose: Avoid allergic triggers such as dust, mold, pollen and pet dander. Rinse nasal passages with saline and please see your pediatrician. A children's preparation dosed for your child's weight is preferred. If the mg equivalent is the same dose then one dose may be provided until you see your pediatrician.
