My son is 3 years old. during the day he is 100% but whenever he lie down for a nap or night time sleep he start to cough. he coughed so at his afternoon nap that he vomited. i think its nasal drip so give allergex any other advise?

Consider other issue: If this occurs only when he's laying down it could relate to the position change or the location. Is there something in his sleeping area that irritates his lungs to make him cough ? Does he have a subtle form of reflux that triggers small amounts of refluxed material to trigger the cough ? You should discuss this with his doc.
