Visible change: It's so hard to exercise and not see muscular arms or abdomen as soon as you would like. You are to be commended for adopting a regular, daily exercise plan. Overall you will improve your physical conditioning. Look for a different measure of improvement, such as how much weight you can consistently lift, or how many reps/sets. High intensity short bursts of exercise may be helpful.

May need a trainer: Muscle mass is gained through resistance training using bands, isometrics, weights or other such equipment. Frequent exercise can cut down on your body fat but it will not build muscle without the proper types of training. The protein you eat, in excess of what is needed that day for muscle repair will eventually be converted to sugars or fat & stored.
