How many overall calories and protein per day should i consume for building muscle? i'm aiming for maximum muscle gain, i'm skinny now only 100 lbs, 5'6". i read 1g protein per pound of body weight.

Not perfect : But your estimated basal metabolic rate is approximately 1300 kcal/day - that's what you need to take in just to function. Depending on your activity level you will need to eat so that you are consuming more calories than you burn. It has often been said that you should take in 250-500 kcal surplus/day to optimize weight gain and in the range of 1-1.5 gm protein/kg

Muscle: Forget about muscle for now. You need to gain weight first and slowly gain muscle strength. If you overdo exercise at the expense of eating you would be making a mistake.
