Try looking online: Years ago, listings were available only in printed form. By the turn of the century, lists had become available online everywhere. Now, some lists are only online, and no longer printed. County medical-dental societies, hospitals, and insurance companies usually list doctors and dentists by name, specialty, insurance plans, and location. Look under General Dentistry or General Dentists.

Excellent: This forum, however, cannot provide one for you. Other than knowing you are 27 yo, we don't know where you live or what treatment you need. Ask a friend, relative, neighbor, or co-worker for a recommendation of a local dentist whose office is convenient and make an appointment.

Need a Dentist: Forum is designed to provide general health advice and knowledge. It's not a referral service. Not knowing where you live, or your oral heath care needs, it's impossible to give you guidance. Best suggestion, ask your friends, coworkers, neighbors, for the name of their General Dentist. General Dentist will either treat you, or, if necessary, refer you to appropriate dental specialist. Good luck.
