Information: On a first visit you will be receiving a lot of information. Try not to get overwhelmed as many things have changed in 9 years. A current dental office will be completely digital. Hopefully, what you should expect is a connection with your dentist. If the connection is not there find someone that matches up with you. Once a relationship is built and the trust is established you will feel better.

Comprehensive exam: I would think that you would receive a comprehensive examination, plus a full series of x-rays, dental charting, intraoral photographs, periodontal charting. Once that is done, you will probably have a consultation to go over what was discovered, and what if any treatment recommendations would be appropriate for you.
