Dentist didn't put temp crown on, will i still be ok?

Yes But: Why not? Did you ask? Should be fine if the tooth is not sensitive however be careful until the crown is ready and be prepared for a longer seating appointment as the adjustments may be greater without a temporary crown in place to hold the space and the bite.
