ADD & ADHD are same: Checklists may suggest possibility of adhd, but it takes a trained professional to conduct a full history of symptoms & how they impact a person's life & function in all settings. Adhd is a differential diagnosis (it may look like other diagnoses & vice versa) & a comorbid diagnosis (occurring at the same time as other diagnoses) with many other conditions & proper eval can elucidate.
