Is there a difference between add and adhd? my doctor tends to use "add" and "adhd" somewhat interchangeably. what is the difference?

ADHD : Adhd and add are conditions affecting attention and concentration, but adhd has hyperactivity too. The treatment is similar, and there is so many similarities to use the terms for both conditions interchangeably.
